CanMed 2026: from stigma to science in South Australia
Curaleaf Australia joined healthcare professionals in Adelaide for the state’s first symposium dedicated to medicinal cannabis.
On 12 September 2026, the National Wine Centre of Australia in Adelaide hosted CanMed 2026 – From Stigma to Science SA Medical Cannabis Symposium. It was the first event of its kind in South Australia, bringing together healthcare professionals, researchers and industry representatives.
As its title suggests, the symposium focused on moving the conversation around medicinal cannabis away from stigma and towards clinical and scientific evidence.
Seeing the conversation shift from stigma toward evidence, in a room full of people genuinely invested in getting it right, was a real highlight.
